SIBU: Shares of Encorp Berhad saw active trading the last two days following intense speculation of its executive chairman Datuk Effendi Norwawi to contest in the Balingian by-election.
Talk is rife about his likely candidacy after incoming Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem told reporters in Kuching last Saturday, that he had arranged a meeting with Effendi at any time to discuss “a few things”.
