Premises found with mosquito larvae fined RM500


TWENTY-FOUR premises identified with mosquito breeding grounds in Sri Nilam Apartments were slapped with a RM500 compound each under the Destruction of Disease-Bearing Insects Act (DDBIA) 1975 by the Hulu Langat Health Department recently.

Hulu Langat Health Department head of disease control Dr Mohd Nasir Habib said from the 1191 premises checked during Ops Gempur Aedes, 23 houses and one business premise had breeding grounds.
