MALACCA: The mystical island of Pulau Besar will soon be connected with 24-hour electricity supply, eliminating the current dependency on diesel-powered generator for energy.
Malacca Chief Minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron said the island would enjoy a 24-hour supply of electricity from August next year following the RM30mil joint venture project between Tenaga Nasional Bhd and the Malacca State Development Corporation.
