PONTIAN: Visitors and tourists coming into Johor may find it difficult to get a hotel to stay, as there is a shortage of rooms available in the state.

State Tourism, Trade and Consumerism Committee chairman Datuk Tee Siew Kiong said that presently there was a shortage of about 11,700 rooms in the state.
