HIKERS responded enthusiastically when a group from St John Ambulance taught them cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) at two hiking rest stations near the Penang Municipal Park in Penang.

The CPR demonstration was held following the death of hiker K. Subramaniam, 59, who collapsed and died while hiking there.
