SIBU: Media tycoon Tan Sri Tiong Hiew King often finds himself in an awkward position over the perception that the Chinese newspapers can be quite misleading when it comes to political reports.

The 79-year-old veteran, who owns Sin Chew Daily News, said there had been times when the Chinese media were seen as pro-Opposition and vice versa, which could confuse the public.
