SIBU: The setting up of University College of Technology Sarawak (UCTS), the first institution of higher learning in this town, is hoped to address the possible shortage of skilled manpower for Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (SCORE).

Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud said with the state heading to become an fully industrialised economy, the government needed to ensure that such vision would be achieved.
