'Quay' to a smooth ride

THE traffic congestion in Weld Quay is expected to ease when Rapid Penang’s second bus terminal there is completed in April, said state exco member Chow Kon Yeow.

Chow, who is state Local Government and Traffic Management Committee chairman, said the existing terminal there was unable to cater to the big volume of buses, resulting in the vehicles spilling out onto the road and causing congestion.
