MIRI: The top managers of Nippon Oil have said the recent landslide and soil erosion that hit various parts of the city were not caused by the company’s ongoing seismic exploration for inland oil.
They have also said that the seismic surveys had not caused any tremors, and assured the 350,000 population of this resort city that the operations on mobile trucks loaded with sound waves and vibration machinery would not endanger the foundations of houses or buildings.
