Dancers and horses join celebration on car-free street

LITTLE children donning horse headgear and dressed in white leotards with colourful sequins and rainbow stripes joyfully ‘galloped’ and danced along part of Beach Street in Penang to usher in the Year of the Horse which is just around the corner.

At another end of the street, visitors who showed up early to catch the myriad activities being held during the Occupy Beach Street event were surprised to see two magnificent horses pulling carriages.
