Vernon: Existing legislation sufficient to penalise cyber offenders


KUCHING: Any tightening of cyber laws will push Malaysia backwards, particularly if they are used to target the Opposition.

State PKR information chief Vernon Kedit said this would take the country in the opposite direction to its neighbours, who were moving ahead towards greater openness.
