KUCHING: Asean members have been urged to capitalise on the advancement of information and communication technology (ICT) to further boost tourism in the region.
“As one of the world’s largest and most dynamic industry, travel and tourism sector is exposed to the changes brought by ongoing transformation in ICT,” Tourism Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg said at the Asean Tourism Forum (ATF) 2014 at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) yesterday.
