MACALLUM SC kept their promotion hopes flickering by checking into the semi-finals of the FA of Penang’s Division Three challenge.
On a day when they were so controversially denied what could have been an outright win, with the man in black awarding the Penang Municipal Council an equaliser midway into the second half even when the ball had not crossed the goal line, the 1-1 deadlock at full-time forced the quarter-final showdown into a shootout decision.
