Johor detains 50 illegal immigrants


The group of Indonesians being detained at the Sungai Rengit police station after they were nabbed for trying to leave the country via uncharted area in Kota Tinggi, Johor on Jan 12.

JOHOR BARU: Enforcement authorities detained 50 illegal immigrants in two separate operations.

In the first operation, 29 Nepalese were detained by the Johor Immigration Department following complaints by the public about their behaviour.
