Early festive cheer for psychiatric ward residents

SIBU: Eighty-four patients and staff of Sibu Hospital’s psychiatric ward are getting early Chinese New Year cheer this year.

The ward’s Visitors Board, represented by its chairman So Teck Kee presented ang pow — courtesy of local businessman Kiew Chiong Tiing and his wife Hii Mee Ing — to the hospital’s deputy director Dr Ching Mei Ling at a simple ceremony yesterday.
