Johor records drop in criminal cases

JOHOR BARU: The state police department have successfully recorded a decrease from 19,068 to 17,105 crime cases last year when compared to 2012, dropping by 10.29% or 1,963 cases statewide.

Johor police chief Senior Deputy Comm Datuk Mohd Mokhtar Mohd Shariff said the department has managed to reduce the crime rate in the state continuously for the past six years.
