BATU PAHAT: The Batu Pahat Municipal Council said that motorists in the municipality have to display parking coupon on Fridays despite the change in the weekend. The residents there were confused whether they had to display parking coupon on Friday (Jan 3) as it was the first Friday of 2014 and the first weekend change in Johor.
A number of people were compounded as they failed to display parking coupon last Friday (Jan 3), the first rest day of the year following the announcement of weekend change from Saturday and Sunday to Friday and Saturday.
