SIBU: A 36-year-old man has become the first person in Kanowit District to be charged for operating an online gambling centre.
The accused, Sia Kee Kwong, was yesterday fined RM5,000 in default six months’ imprisonment by the Magistrate’s Court for operating the centre in Jalan Pekan, Kanowit.
