IT IS safe for Firefly’s ATR 72-500 aircraft to land at the Sultan Azlan Shah Airport in Ipoh despite repair works being carried out on sinkholes along the runway.
State Health, Tourism and Culture Committee chairman Nolee Ashilin Mohd Radzi said the current repair works undertaken by Malaysia Airport Holdings Bhd (MAHB) would not hinder Firefly’s aircraft, which fly daily between Ipoh and Singapore, from landing here.
