STATE Financial Officer Datuk Khazali Din was acclaimed the Prominent Sports Leader for 2013 during the Kedah Youth and Sports Department’s annual mass sports awards ceremony held at a hotel in Alor Setar.
For the past quarter of a century, Khazali, 55, had been actively involved in various sports activities such as sepak takraw, soccer, golf, mass recreation and was the chef-de-mission of the Kedah contingent to the Malaysia Games (Sukma) 2010 in Malacca and Sukma 2012 in Kuantan.
