RATEPAYERS were pleasantly surprised when Ipoh City Council secretary Datuk Abdul Rahim Md Ariff emerged with bags of cupcakes and presented the Christmas goodies to them.
In following a tradition started by Datuk Bandar Datuk Roshidi Hashim to give out festive goodies to ratepayers and staff at the council building prior to each festive season, Abdul Rahim handed out a total of 200 cupcakes on Christmas eve.
