Martial arts world champion determined to promote sport


A post-graduate student at the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology in Cyberjaya, Saqer Shwedeh, has won the world title in the International Kobudo and martial arts competition held in Moscow, Russia recently.

The 33-year old Saqer, who hails from Palestine, is still reeling from his impressive win as overall champion in this annual international contest of brain, brawn and dexterity. He has chalked up 20 years experience in the martial arts.
