SERIAN: The thought of losing their sacred mountain, Mount Sadong, to encroachers has brought the Bukar communities closer in more ways than one.
Going by a Christmas gathering at Kampung Taee community hall here on Saturday, representatives of all 26 villages in the area along with fellow Bidayuhs from Sadong, Padawan, Penrissen and Bau/Lundu, gave a rousing cheer at the mere reiteration of the government’s decision in revoking a private company’s license to do logging at the mountain.
