THE Penang Municipal Council (MPPP) Planning Committee has agreed to sell council land at the Western Road Christian Cemetery in Jalan Utama to the Titular Roman Catholic Bishop of Penang for the building of a new columbarium there.
Committee alternate chairman R. Murali said the Titular Roman Catholic Bishop of Penang had applied to build a new columbarium at the cemetery about two years ago.
