Opening of landmark bridge linking Malaysia and Brunei today


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Malaysia and Brunei are bringing their diplomatic and economic ties to new heights with the opening of a key bridge and signing of a landmark deal reported to be linked to the oil and gas (O&G) activities along the Sarawak-Brunei maritime border.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah are scheduled to declare open the bridge today at Sungai Pandaruan, which separates Brunei’s Temburong district and Sarawak’s northernmost division Limbang, .
