THE Kuala Lumpur veterans hockey team became outright champions, beating Armed Forces 5-2 in the final at the Muadzam Shah Sports Complex in Alor Setar, Kedah.
The victory proved to be ample compensation for their disappointment last year when they had to share the title with Negri Sembilan due to inclement weather at the same venue.
