MANY residents in Selangor are shocked by the increase of salary between 87% and 268% for elected representatives in the state.
While some agree that there is a need for such an increase, they question the massive jump and others point out that it is a bad time right now. The salary increment is for the Selangor Mentri Besar, executive councillors, Speaker, deputy Speaker and assemblymen.
