A 10% revision in property valuation for the next five years will be more reasonable of a hike in assessment rates, Bandar Tun Razak MP Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim said.
Khalid, who is also the Selangor Mentri Besar, said he and several Kuala Lumpur MPs would be meeting with Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor and Kuala Lumpur mayor Datuk Seri Ahmad Phesal Talib to offer several suggestions in handling the proposed assessment hike that is set to be implemented come Jan 1, 2014.
