KUCHING: The interests of house buyers will be better protected and the housing industry controlled more effectively following the passing of the Housing Development (Control and Licensing) Bill.
Housing Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg said the Bill, which repeals and replaces the existing Housing Developers (Control and Licensing) Ordinance 1993, aimed to provide stronger safeguards to house buyers in dealing with housing developers.
