Happy wanderer gets new home

New home: SFA President Ong Eng Khiam (left) and secretary Phillip Tay were the first to sign the visitors' book at the new and permanent Franciscan House.

MALACCA: St. Francis Association (SFA), one of the country’s pioneer school old boys association established in 1917 and dubbed the “happy wanderer” because of its continued reliance on rented premises, has at long last purchased its very own building.

Located at the spanking new commercial and home dvelopment phase at Taman Kota Laksamana on the fringe of Malacca Historic City, and rebranded as “Franciscan House”, the association proudly occupies a double storey link lot about two kilometers away from its last nondescript rented shoplot premises.
