OVER THE last few years, Royal Selangor has taken pewter to a new level with its new collections. It has received rave reviews for its refreshing designs in tableware and home accessories, through collaborations with international designers such as London based VW+BS, China’s Jamy Yang, Singaporean Nathan Yong and also Hong Kong’s Freeman Lau.
Targeting the growing wealth in Asia, Royal Selangor has, in recent years, expanded its retail network in China and India. In October, the company opened its latest retail store in Hong Kong’s Hollywood Road, which has been a main thoroughfare in the city for more than a hundred years.
