KUCHING: Malaysian pepper prices continue their uptrend, spiralling to their highest levels this year ahead of the International Pepper Community (IPC) annual meeting here, beginning next Monday.
Average Kuching Grade I white pepper hit the RM28,000 per tonne mark while black pepper soared to RM17,500 per tonne last week and remained unchanged yesterday, according to Malaysian Pepper Board’s (MPB) published daily purchase prices.
