SIX deserving individuals were given awards in conjunction with Maal Hijrah (also known as Awal Muharram) by the Penang Malay Association (Pemenang) for their contributions to the community.

Penang Muslim League advisor Datuk Ahmad Rodzi Pawanteh, 57, who was awarded the Tokoh Keusahawanan (Entrepreneur Award), was one of the recipients.
