Ipoh City Council organises tree planting ceremony for parents

A family affair: Roshidi (centre, in white) planting a tree for his granddaughter, Raja Izzaryn, who is nearby in her mother, Ena Farizan Roshidi's arms during a tree-planting programme.

IT IS not very often that someone gets a tree named after them.

Hence, it was a privilege and an opportunity of a lifetime when the Ipoh City Council offered parents a chance to plant trees in their children’s names at the Gunung Lang Recreational Park.
