KUCHING: Residents living under the jurisdiction of the Kuching South City Council (MBKS) were told not to mistake the local government’s councillors for counsellors.
A councillor is a member of a council (in this case MBKS) whereas a counsellor is a person trained (and whose job it is) to give guidance on personal, social, or psychological problems.
