KUCHING: Construction workers may be in big demand these days and earning an average of RM45 to RM60 a day, but too many are unaware of their Employees Provident Fund (EPF) rights.
“It is common to find employers in the construction industry that do not contribute to labourers’ EPF funds,” said Halim Boweng (pic), Kuching enforcement chief of the social safety net organisation.
