Have a cup of tea: Doulton showing the Union Jack mug from the Cheeky Pink collection.
ROYAL Albert has recently released a new range of tableware under its New Country Roses collection called the Cheeky Pink.
The design is a spin-off from Royal Albert’s best-selling Old Country Roses range.
While maintaining the signature rose motifs, the collection is given a more contemporary look with hints of romantic vintage.
“Royal Albert is staying relevant by creating new collections in popular colours and motifs, without losing the brand’s distinct English style,” said Malaysian sole distributor for Waterford Wedgwood Royal Doulton (WWRD), Katrin BJ Sdn Bhd managing director Jean Yeap.
“The tableware can stand the test of time in terms of quality and appearance, that is why we are very proud to make them available to Malaysian fans and collectors.”
Royal Doulton international ambassador Michael Doulton was also present at the launch.
“Cheeky Pink is inspired by the classic tableware concept, but has a fun, vibrant and boutique feel that will appeal to younger generations,” said Doulton, who is the descendant of Royal Doulton’s founder, John Doulton.
Royal Albert is one of the principal brands under WWRD, a leading provider of luxury home and lifestyle products that also manages prominent brands including Royal Doulton, Waterford, Wedgwood and Johnson Brothers.
