KUCHING: SUPP Youth has defended the Government’s recent reduction of fuel subsidies, saying it was necessary to cut the country’s fiscal deficit.
Its chief Tan Kai said the amount of fuel subsidies borne by the Government last year alone was a staggering RM24bil, according to statistics from the Finance Ministry.
