THE Tourism and Culture Ministry plans to train about 1,000 frontliners from various tourism industry players in Perak by the year-end to prepare them for Visit Malaysia Year 2014.
State Tourism Ministry Office director Syahruddin Abdul Hamid said the frontliners, especially those who would be among the first to meet and greet tourists, would be equipped with the know-how and guidelines when welcoming them.
