Masing proposes getting employers to deduct salary for PTPTN loan repayments

KUCHING: A law should be passed to make it mandatory for employers to deduct the salary of workers who had used the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) study loans, to settle their debts with the fund.

Land Development Minister Tan Sri Dr James Masing (pic) believed that this was a more effective measure than the plan to set up more PTPTN offices to recover the loan as mentioned in Parliament recently.
