ATTENTION all youths — Malaysian Youth Community (MYC!) is on the lookout for good-looking youths to participate in the MYC! Fresh Faces Search 2013.
In a unique collaboration with Samsung Malaysia Electronics, this contest will be using the ChatOn mobile messaging application as part of the contest mechanics.
MYC! chief executive officer Jason Ko said it was one of the first model searches in Malaysia to do this; and the largest of its kind.
“We do not just want pretty faces. MYC! is looking for a lethal combination of beauty, brains and heart; the sort of youths that can become role models to others,” said Ko.
The ChatOn mobile application will be used to submit entries as well as to vote for finalists later on in the contest.
MYC! Fresh Faces Search is already open to submissions and will run until mid-November, during which the roadshows will be making its way to 26 university campuses nationwide.
All Malaysians between the ages of 18 and 26 are eligible to join.
After a live audition phase and boot camp phase, the top 12 finalists will be in the grand finale in December.
The grand-prize winner will be sent on a trip to Paris, France for a professional makeover and supermodel photoshoot experience.
The next two runners-up will be doing the same in Gold Coast, Australia and Bali, Indonesia respectively, while the following three finalists will win a Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE each.
However, all 12 finalists will be featured as models on the cover of MYC! News magazine and also receive RM500 each.
Those who are interested to take part can check out the official MYC Facebook page for more information.
MYC! Fresh Faces Search 2013 is supported by Watsons Malaysia, Starbucks Malaysia and Elite Models Malaysia.
