SIBU: Owners of houses burned down in the June 19 Kampung Datu fire want the village to be developed into a tourism site.
A spokesman of the Kampung Datu Development Committee told The Star they had put forward their proposal to the government through Housing Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Openg for consideration.
