Special schools can develop independence in disabled children, says Fatimah


KUCHING: Parents should send their disabled children to special schools as this is the only way to let them learn to be independent eventually.

Welfare, Women and Family Development Minister Datuk Fatimah Abdullah said the availability of community rehabilitation centres had created an avenue for these children to acquire skills training, which could eventually help them get work.
