Frauds and scams on the rise


KUCHING: Frauds and scams involving online transactions in the country is on the rise, says Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism (MDTCC) Ministry state director Wan Ahmad Uzir Wan Sulaiman.

Speaking during the closing of the Consumerism Advocacy Programme at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching yesterday, he urged consumers to exercise caution when making online purchases from various popular shopping sites.
