Forging spirit of unity in making lemang

PEKAN: It was a show of unity, cooperation and the spirit of friendship by the settlers in Felda Chini when they participated in the preparation of 5,000 pieces of lemang recently.

Chini assemblyman Datuk Bakar Harun, who is also the state Felda Affairs committee chairman said the making and preparing of lemang was a practice by Chini residents, mainly the settlers as a show of support to the Barisan Nasional led-government and the end of Syawal month to Muslims or the end of the Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
