KUCHING: It seems that private real estate developers and the state government have not found common ground on affordable housing issues.
At the opening of Sarawak Builders Expo (Sarbex) 2013 Total Living in Borneo Convention Centre Kuching here yesterday, the private sector continued to call on the state government to lift maximum prices off affordable housing. Under state rules, low-cost units are capped at about RM80,000.
