KUCHING: Empurau breeder Bill Lu Thian Tack’s expertise has been sought for the setting-up of a proposed hatchery and nursery farm for the highly prized fish in Sabah.

The proposed project is to mass produce empurau fry for distribution to villagers participating in fish breeding project under the tagal system, which aims to conserve fishery resources in the river.
