SIBU: The National Early Childhood Intervention Council (NECIC) welcomes a recent initiative by the Government to give free aid to pre-schoolers with special needs and also grants to pre-school education providers with special-needs children.

In a statement released yesterday, NECIC vice-president Khor Ai-Na said these were two positive tangible ways to ensure that all children, regardless of their learning disposition and capacity would receive education from their earliest possible age.
