KOTA SAMARAHAN: With heart disease on the rise in Malaysia, the Sarawak Heart Foundation and Sarawak General Hospital Heart Centre are doing their part to raise awareness and promote a healthy lifestyle through the annual World Heart Day celebration.
Cardiologist Prof Dr Sim Kui Hian, a member of the foundation’s board of trustees, said cardiovascular diseases were one of the top killers in the world, including in developing countries like Malaysia.
