A DOWNPOUR on Thursday night caused an 18m-long concrete monsoon drain near a river to be washed away at Kampung Muhibbah in Chenderiang.
Chenderiang assemblyman Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon said the incident could have occurred due to the heavy rain and also probably due to the soil composition at the area.
